With a desire to continue building on the research momentum provided by the excellent outputs of REF2014, we wish to expand our Professoriate and are seeking to make a further Professorial appointments to help us meet our ambition to build an internationally-renowned research environment. 

  • You will have an international reputation in your field
  • You will have a consistent track record in winning external funding to support your research and producing world class outputs.
  • You will work in an area of Life Sciences building on the School’s existing strengths in Animal Behaviour, Cognition and Welfare; Cancer and Ageing; Diabetes, Metabolism and Inflammation; Evolution and Ecology or Microbiology and Biotechnology. (https://www.lincoln.ac.uk/home/lifesciences/research/). Applications in the fields of Cancer and Ageing or Microbiology and Biotechnology are particularly welcomed.
  • You may also be able to provide interdisciplinary linkage to The Lincoln Institute of Agri-Food Technology or The Lincoln Institute of Health.
  • You will be keen to provide research leadership to more junior colleagues and you will also have a positive and innovative approach to teaching undergraduates.
