The University of Lincoln online recruitment system uses software and servers owned by third party providers. Staff employed by these providers may be able to see the information held on the online recruitment system for service and support purposes.
The personal data that the University of Lincoln collects about you will be used for the purposes of processing your application and for the compilation of anonymous statistics. If your application is successful it will be used to form the basis of your staff record.
All data will be held securely in accordance with UK data protection legislation. It will only be disclosed to third parties if necessary, for example to conduct referencing, or to ascertain accuracy; or if there is a legitimate, statutory right to the information. A basic record of candidates who do not become staff, is retained on our systems.
Special Category equal opportunities data is collected for the purpose of monitoring the effectiveness of the University’s Equal Opportunities Policy and to provide anonymised statistical reports. This data is not used in the recruitment decision-making process.
