The Higher Education Sector is going through a period of unprecedented change. The COVID 19 Pandemic has had a significant impact on the lives and professional activities of our colleagues and students resulting in a number of organisational challenges. Significant changes to the funding regime along with the introduction of key information metrics across all aspects of the Sector’s performance, are likely to have fundamental and lasting changes to the HE sector as a whole. At the same time Lincoln is an ambitious University enjoying a meteoric rise in the league tables since its establishment in 2001.

Under the remit of Apprenticeships at the University, we act as an apprentice employer and also have our own staff accessing both external and internal (Employer Provider) apprenticeships. This role will have the opportunity to largely work in the area of staff accessing both external and internal apprenticeships. 

The successful post holder will be responsible for both the ongoing strategic development and implementation of how the University best utilises its levy funds.

Our professional HR Department staff have relationships with every area of the University at both a strategic and operational level. Human Resources covers the areas of operations, reward and benefits, organisational development, equality, diversity and inclusion, and engagement and wellbeing. This role will sit within Organisational Development (OD) and work across the wider function of the Human Resources Department.
