The ICT department has a vacancy for a Senior ICT Operations Analyst to replace one of its existing roles, within the ICT Operations team.
The post holder is expected to have a good understanding across a broad range of ICT disciplines and will actively contribute to the day-to-day delivery and support of a wide range of ICT Services to University users.
As a Senior ICT Operations Analyst, you will be able to demonstrate how you share knowledge, create documentation, mentor colleagues and work as a technical project lead within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Providing an excellent experience for both staff and students, the role holder will work closely with the Service Desk and a number of service-specific areas within ICT to roll out and maintain new applications / services, and support our customers in the use of a wide-ranging and exciting ICT Technologies and in the resolution of issues.
This team is responsible for the smooth running of all ICT operations and contributing to ongoing continual service improvement.
Key Knowledge & Skills (E-Essential, D-Desirable)
E Working knowledge of MacOS and other Apple technologies including MDM.
E Previous experience of configuring networked appliances including Audiovisual technologies.
D Understanding enterprise integration between various systems supported by the Infrastructure team.
D Previous experience and knowledge configuring and assisting with various client software.
E Excellent customer service skills and customer focus.
E Experience of developing and maintaining good working relationships as a Senior ICT Operations Analyst.
E Experience of engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the University.
E Experience of engaging with third party suppliers, manufacturers, and external visitors.
