Registry Graduate Intern - INTERNAL ONLY (Fixed Term)

This graduate internship is being offered within the Registry department of the University of Lincoln. The internship is a new temporary 12 month position primarily supporting two departments; Student Administration and the Registrar’s Office. However, for the first 6 months the post holder will also provide support to Secretariat and Legal Services. There will also be exposure to other areas within the Registry. This is an opportunity for a recent graduate to develop the skills and experience required for a potential graduate profession such as higher education administration and management.
Student Administration is responsible for assessment processes, including the operation of Boards of Examiners and the provision of formal examinations, across the University. It also provides information on assessment results for students who have left the University. The remit of the Registrar’s Office includes information compliance (Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Records Management), financial administration and office management. Secretariat and Legal Services is responsible for committee governance, student contention processes and the development of University regulations.
The role will require interaction with University staff, students and individuals and organisations external to the institution. The post holder will also need to be able to work outside of normal hours when required.
