PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS AN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY OPPORTUNITY AND NOT A UNIVERSITY OF LINCOLN ROLE.

This exciting new opportunity is to serve as Project Manager of the Lincolnshire Institute of Technology responsible for managing the IoT Project and providing support to the Chief Operating Officer in managing the day to day operation of the Institute.

The University of Lincoln successfully led a collaborative bid with regional employers and further education colleges to establish an Institute of Technology in Lincolnshire, which will specialise in agri-tech, food manufacturing, energy, digital and engineering skills. We are now looking for a Project Manager to coordinate the delivery of the functions required to establish and then operate the Institute of Technology. The post will also provide administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer.

Institutes of Technology are unique collaborations between employers, higher and further education providers. They will specialise in delivering higher-level technical skills in order to help close regional skills gaps and improve productivity. The Government is backing the new institutes with £170million of capital funding.

For further information or an informal discussion, please contact rmills@lincoln.ac.uk to make the necessary arrangements to speak with the Institute of Technology Board Chair.

All applicants should ensure that their CV is included as part of their application.
