The School of Psychology is a thriving department within one of the most dynamic and fastest growing universities in the UK. Based at the heart of the beautiful historic city of Lincoln, the University of Lincoln was recently named as the Modern University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021.

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Psychology with research interests in one or more of the following: social psychology, gender, parenting, work & families. We welcome applications from researchers with expertise in quantitative, qualitative, or experimental approaches. The successful candidate will add to our existing strengths in these research areas and become an integral member of our programme teams and the Social Psychology Research Group.

Applicants will have a PhD in Psychology. We are looking to recruit individuals with a strong and developing track record of research who, at the same time, can demonstrate commitment to teaching excellence and innovation.

You will be an excellent team player as well as capable of developing and leading your own research agenda in line with the University research strategy. You will be able to demonstrate how you will be ready for future REF submission through a publication record and research trajectory that demonstrates high quality. There will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and expertise through staff development courses and events.
