The College of Arts is a vibrant and growing element of the University of Lincoln which is based in the heart of this thriving, beautiful and friendly city. The College Technical Services Team is made up of over 30 highly skilled and specialist staff who provide a wide range of services and support to students and academic staff from across the numerous schools within the College.  We are looking to recruit an individual to support teaching and learning across the colleges' Animation and 3D modelling facilities.  

The Animation program is part of the Lincoln School of Film and Media which has had many successes in national and international competitions, located in the Peter De Wint Building the program has two dedicated computer suites which the post holder will have responsibility for managing and maintaining.  We are looking to recruit an individual with extensive experience in the use, support and operation of a range of specialist Animation and 3D modelling software.  The post holder should have considerable knowledge of traditional and digital animation techniques and will be expected to support students and academic staff via timetabled workshops, self-directed learning and general studio support.  Supporting 3D modelling software across the wider college will also be a requirement of the role so a willingness to work with a wide range of students is essential.

Experience of providing technical support within a similar environment will be highly valued.  Given the current move to the provision of blended learning and online digital education, experience in online teaching and support is highly desirable.
